Intimacy threshold – pass or fail? Here is your litmus test.
For couples checking to see if they have a serious future together, these are like levels of a litmus test. Bathroom habits are the make or break points of interpersonal relationships and uber close social settings. And I know you agree. So, what are those obscure bathroom faux pas that you never hope you are caught doing? Or what are those that make you a very desirable houseguest?
1. Doodie stalks
You linger in the bathroom after your ‘job’ is done, to make sure the air is not reminiscent of your leavings.
2. Stow away before you spray
You spend more time looking for a dry, clean spot or hook for your handbag and stole – so hard to do this at a public restroom
3. Mask the whoosh
You turn on the shower or faucets to cover up sonorous bodily functions.
4. Caught on the gossip radar
You slip in and out of the john without being noticed by someone who is too talkative or nosy, or by that cute crush at a party, particularly if your alcohol consumption has lowered your reserve
5. Powder your nose subtly
When you know you’ll be running into a prospective love interest, you add that additional oomph to your eyes or to gloss up your lips. Or dab in perfume at the earlobes. You know it’ll rev up your confidence in a jiffy
6. Talk thyself up
You take a moment to say a few encouraging words to yourself before a big business meeting or when meeting important people
7. Spike your breath
You plant a mint under your tongue right before you get cozy with a loved one.
There you are. Everybody has bathroom habits. And these were just the good ones. Remember, these intimate details frame your personality and have a huge influence on how people perceive you. So watch out for the habits you develop, and present your best front!
