Let’s face it. Bengaluru is driven by the passion and hard work of its people, and its investors. That’s right! None of the prosperity would have come if the people did not agree to work hard to the projects they were given. From olden days till now, Bengaluru holds its position as a Tech City of India with pride. Today, it is the Silicon Valley of India resplendent with high-end offices after the IT boom, scientific and technological innovations that hit the city at the close of the Nineteenth century.
And yet again, the harmful impact of high-tech automated lives has taken its toll on common people, their lifestyles, and the city as a whole. Wife killing husband to consummate her extra-marital affair with husband’s cousin, daughter of doctor committing suicide over an allegation by the school principal, Varthur Lake pollution killing the purity of the city and comments, jives and assaults on women (did I forget the strange behavior to North Eastern students), are examples that show that not all is okay with our own Silicon Valley. Not as long as we forget to turn into humans after work and fun.
Yes. A small dose of humanity, morality and high principles can help Bengaluru go back to its original repute. And we the people got to help in it. Here is a small tribute to the lovely humane side of Bengaluru for all to enjoy and remind themselves that some our best brains live in there. Share the spirit to spread the thought.
